Dear friends,
Jeremy Hoyland is one of the IJSBA's International Race Directors, friend to many, and a loving father of 2 daughters and beloved husband of Jacqui, went missing in Indonesian waters off of Bali while on a leisure excursion during the 3rd week of October.
To date, multiple resources, have contributed in the Search and Rescue efforts of Jeremy. This has covered thousands of kilometers of water acreage, and shoreline involving both aircraft and watercraft.
The search for Jeremy has included hundreds of people, tireless hours, with both professionals and volunteers in Bali investigating every plausible location. We are grateful for these people placing their own lives at risk in order to bring Jeremy back home to his family. To date, there is no
trace of Jeremy, however the search continues faithfully for his safe recovery.
As the days pass, the economics of such a vast search area are part of the sobering reality of such a difficult task. I am sure that Jeremy himself would appreciate your support of his family in his absence. Please contribute to thier day to day needs and the uncertainty of how long this process
will be engaged will create additional financial demands on his family.
These situations oftentimes economically compromise and cripple families during these times of duress. Your financial contributions will help the family stabilize the financial worries that are mounting daily during this crisis and offset any unforeseen costs.
Would you please join us in organizing your own local grassroots fundraising projects? If your local club, organization or circle of friends would so kindly support and help the family with the associated costs of this magnitude, this would be the best support you could lend at this time.
You can make your financial donations through the following avenues; please consider organizing your events and local promotions with sponsored donations to assist the Hoyland family during this crisis. You may also forward or post this request to propagate the fundraising efforts for Jeremy's
family.
Where to donate?
Your donations would be greatly appreciated and valued, no matter where you are in the world, we stand united and our brethren need your supportive contributions.

This update comes on October 28, 1:30 PM local time in Bali. After numerous meetings and interviews with police and other officials, the authorities have agreed that there is good cause to continue the searching for missing official, Jeremy Hoyland.
Interviews with the technical officials of the Jet Ski portion of the Asia Beach Games led the authorities to conclude that the circumstances under which Jeremy went missing along with Jeremy’s ability to survive against the odds were substantial factors in extending the search efforts.
The PWC community would like to specifically thank the Bali Police especially the Chief of Police, the IJSBA, Fully Aswar, the Chief of the Navy, the Search and Rescue division of the Navy, the battleship commanders who allocated their time, the helicopter force and the private helicopter
entities that joined, the capital of Jakarta for sending resources, the Army, Shawn Alladio and the extended K 38 Staff, and all of the private persons such as the local fishing community.
We appreciate that you are all doing everything possible to find our friend. We also would like to extend our appreciation to all of the friends and supporters that have offered their support, well wishes and resources towards this search effort.
As of today, oceanic searches are continuing and extensive land searches are now launching. The IJSBA remains hopeful and we will update all of you with any information when it becomes available. We appreciate that all of you have kept the focus on supporting Jeremy and the search efforts.
